Training information at a glance
A   commitment   of   sixty (60)  days   is   the minimum
amount   of   time   required   for each   horse   entering
Ed's   training   program.     Less   than   this   will
shortchange   both   horse   and   owner.

Once   the   horse   has   been   accepted   for  training,
each   owner  completes   a   form  indicating   the   short
and   long   term   goals   for   their   horse.    These   are
discussed,   and   Ed   maintains   a   checklist  --  keeping
owners   abreast   of   their  horse's  progress.

Owners   are  welcome  to  visit  anytime,  and   are
strongly   encouraged   to  participate   in   the  weekly
three-hour  free  lesson  time  slot  which  is  set  aside
specifically  for  the  purpose  of  individual  demonstration
and practice.   Owner  involvement  is  an  important
aspect  of  our  training  process;  a  fundamental  factor
which  facilitates  the  establishment  of  a  quality
relationship  between  owner  and  horse.

As  safety  for  Ed  and  the  horses  he  trains
remains  paramount;  every  horse  in  training
experiences  the  logical  progression  from  the
indoor  roundpen  and  arena,  moving  to  the
outdoor  roundpen  and  arena,  and  finally  it’s
on to  the  real  world  of  ponds  &  creeks,  woods  &
ravines.
