Ed's Round Pen Connection DVD introduces
to you to "Fergus" - one of Benbar Farm's
Sport Horses. Fergus is a delightful gelding
who has never been worked in a round pen.
Watch Ed as he addresses issues and problem
spots that Fergus exhibits; common in a huge
part of the equine population.
Ed Chambers' new DVDs will help you see the
partnership needed when beginning the basics of
round penning and trailer loading. Ed explains the
“5 W’s” … who, what, when, where, why and
how this can be accomplished in a format that is
concise, practical, and easy to understand. You'll
see Fergus' cooperation with Ed unfold, and the
TB mare named Dream, once receiving the much
needed physical and mental support from Ed--
yield and become comfortable in a trailer.
In years past and like many others, Ed was
exposed to the callous treatment horses received
and knew there had to be a better way of
communicating with them. He was especially
drawn to mistreated horses and was eager to
help them.
As a result, Ed started looking at things from the
horse's side of the saddle, beginning with respect
and moving toward mutual trust. He created an
atmosphere where the horse would feel
comfortable having Ed in "his world." This leads
to a bond which, depending on the horse can
happen rather suddenly. Some of them seem to
long for a bond - leadership - comfort - trust. Ed
found this to be a positive and effective way of
working with all horses, no matter their level of
training or past history. He has taken satisfaction
in successfully returning horses to the show ring,
as well as helping others whose behavior had
deemed them unmanageable.
For the Trailer Loading-A Step At A
Time DVD, Ed selected a beautiful black TB
mare whose previous owner was only able
to load her after blood, sweat and tears.
The key to this bond lies in your horse’s foundation. Here at Turning Point, our methods of training
and various clinics, from basic colt starting through groundwork, horsemanship, and cow
working, are designed to help you find and develop that certain “feel.”
Your horse will recognize that feel.......
and he is waiting.

As safety for Ed and the horses he trains remains paramount; every horse in training experiences the logical progression from the indoor roundpen and arena, moving to the outdoor roundpen and arena, and finally it’s on to ponds & creeks, woods & ravines.
